Question 169: To ask the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism the number of applications to his Department for capital sports grants in County Kildare for each of the past three years including 2008; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15724/08]

Under the 2008 programme, forty-four applications have been received from Kildare. The corresponding figures for the years 2006 to 2007 are 33 and 38 respectively.
