Question 375: To ask the Minister for Education and Science if she has received an application from the National Braille Production Centre for extra funding and staff in order to provide full braille books to blind children; if she will make a decision before the end of December 2007; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My officials intend meeting with the National Braille Production Centre in the coming weeks and it is expected that the annual funding paid to the Centre will be one of the items for discussion.
