Question 242: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the mammography unit at Ennis General Hospital has not been operational since October 2006; if she will provide the necessary funding and support to re-establish the service at Ennis General Hospital as a matter of urgency; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to respond directly to the Deputy in relation to the matters raised.
