Question 291: To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs the amount his Department paid out in 2003 for car mileage expenses; and the separate amount paid to cover rail or bus ticket expenses. [3176/04]

Total car mileage expenses in 2002 amounted to â¬214,000. Rail and bus ticket costs amounted to some â¬47,000 for the same period. These figures relate to costs incurred both at headquarters and at all missions abroad.
