I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Victor Boyhan - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the youth homelessness strategy and to report progress on its 27 distinct actions to prevent young people from entering homelessness, to improve the experiences of young people in emergency accommodation and to assist young people to exit homelessness.

Senator Sharon Keogan - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on plans to ensure that appropriate contingency measures are in place for the provision of essential firefighting services in the event the proposed industrial action by the retained fire service proceeds on 6 June.

Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the emergency and long-term plans to address waiting lists for child and adolescent mental health services in the Cork and Kerry areas.

Senator Lisa Chambers - The need for the Minister for Health to address the disparity in costs of hormone replacement therapy products across different pharmacies, and to commit to making these products free for all women.

Senator Emer Currie - The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on a connectivity plan for Dublin Airport this summer.

Of the matters raised by the Senators suitable for discussion, I have selected Senators Victor Boyhan, Sharon Keogan, Tim Lombard and Lisa Chambers and they will be taken now. I regret that I had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Emer Currie on the ground that the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter.
