I have received notice from Senator Neale Richmond that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation to review the stamp 3 visa process to speed up work authorisations for family members of permit holders.

I have also received notice from Senator Kieran O’Donnell of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to consider the setting up of a Brexit strategic route development fund in order to establish a European hub in Shannon Airport.

I have also received notice from Senator Gerard P. Craughwell of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Defence to outline his plans to engage with PDFORRA and RACO with a view to implementing the European Working Time Directive for members of the Defence Forces; and to address the level of expenditure incurred to date in defending litigation relating to the directive as it pertains to the Defence Forces.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion. I have selected Senators Richmond and O'Donnell and they will be taken now. Senator Craughwell has withdrawn his Commencement matter, which I had selected.
