Catherine Noone: Yes, and I wish to highlight the issue. These enhanced consumer rights are a positive development. Of particular interest is the ban on pre-ticked boxes. For instance, when booking a flight online the option for purchasing travel insurance is often preselected. Older people in particular may not be aware that they are being charged for such options.
