Bobby Aylward: My time is running out and I want to ask a few more questions. A total of €100 million was handed back or was not spent last year and €20 million was carried over into this year from last year. Why was that? It was a bad year for farming but €300 million went back into the coffers that could have been spent. Why is that happening? Why is the money not being spent?

Bobby Aylward: I am not sure of the dates when this happened but the Department used to pay for the rendering and the knackeries are looking to go back to that arrangement.
