1. Whether not paying PhD students and simultaneously giving them greater responsibility in teaching our next generations of students will lead to lower quality education (not being paid, may care less),
2. If the prices of accommodation in Galway are continuing to increase drastically, the PhD Stipend is not increasing, and the work is to be done unpaid, where will this money for every day cost of living come from?, and
3. Many other European countries, the U.S., and Canada remunerate PhD students for their work, will this not drive talent away from Ireland?
