The proposed Orbital road network to join the N3, N4 & N7 is planned by Fingal & SDCC councils. Unfortunately, Fingal have just one 'indicative' line on their proposed route for this road from Ongar, there since 2005. They never had an 'indicative' line in Fingal area before the Park or Laracon housing was developed while the land was available as agricultural. They still don't have an alternative route within Fingal area. Their proposed 'indicative' road crosses into Kildare, which I would have thought was out of their jurisdiction. It travels through St. Catherine's Park, partly funded by the public of Leixlip and Lucan, 2012/2013. The Liffey Valley area within this park has been proposed by Fingal as A Special Amenity Area. Now Fingal plan to run a road through this exact area. I personally object to the prospect and proposal of a road through this public recreational park. I believe there are alternative routes. St. Catherine's Park was created as one and should remain as one. No divisions - no infringements by County Councils on any part of these parklands.
