Dear Minister, I have a stage 1 approved stallion and intented to present him for stage 2 inspection. Quote "HSI have informed me that in the interim new applicants for stallion inspection for Irish Draught and Irish Sport Horse breeds will be provided with an opportunity to have their stallions undergo the Studbook veterinary examination and be classified accordingly. Also Irish Sport Horse Stallions who met the requirements for Stage 1 of the Irish Sport Horse inspections in previous years will be facilitated with a Stage 2 inspection."
I have phoned and emailed HSI requesting a date for this inspection WITHOUT a reply. It takes time and money to produce a horse to meet the inspection criteria, so to known a date is vital. My stallion is due to go to stud at the end of March.
Can you provide me and other owners in my position with a date, it is urgent.
