I thank the Ceann Comhairle for allowing me to return to the House to correct the record of the Dáil. When responding to Question No. 11 on Thursday, 13 December, I misread a piece of information that stated something did not happen when it did, in fact, take place. In response to Question No. 11 I stated that factual accuracy checks of the operational review report of the Oberstown Children Detention Campus did not take place. I wish to clarify that factual accuracy checks of this report did take place. I request that the record of the Dáil be corrected to reflect that factual accuracy facts of this report did take place. I regret any confusion this statement may have caused.
