I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 29A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputies Martin Kenny and Marc MacSharry - the need to address health and safety concerns at Sligo Garda station; (2) Deputies Sean Fleming, Carol Nolan, Martin Heydon and Brian Stanley - the future of the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise; (3) Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív - funding for Traveller-specific issues highlighted in the Traveller community survey; (4) Deputy Thomas Byrne - concerns over bullying allegations at the National Council for Curriculum Assessment; (5) Deputies Joan Burton and Niamh Smyth - concerns related to the future of cultural institutions, such as concert orchestras; (6) Deputy Peter Burke - the absence of wind energy guidelines and the impact on planning; (7) Deputies John Curran and Dara Calleary - to discuss proposals to address State pension anomalies; (8) Deputies Mary Butler and David Cullinane - child psychology services in the Waterford area; (9) Deputy Stephen Donnelly - to discuss the European Medicines Agency and European Banking Authority bids; (10) Deputy James Browne - the need to review practices for recruiting HSE psychologists; (11) Deputy Willie O'Dea - to discuss the defined benefit pension scheme in CIÉ; (12) Deputy John Lahart - to discuss noise pollution for residents close to the M50; (13) Deputy Frank O'Rourke - the need to review the housing assistance payment limits in north Kildare; (14) Deputy Pat Buckley - to discuss the need to construct a slip road or feeder lane from the R630 from Whitegate oil refinery to the N25 Cork-Waterford road at Lakeview roundabout; (15) Deputy James Lawless - the intention to issue ministerial directives to override local democracy on Leixlip and Celbridge local area plans; (16) Deputy Louise O'Reilly - to ask the Minister for Health to discuss stretch income targets; (17) Deputies Joan Collins and Maureen O'Sullivan - to ask the Minister whether she will move to ban hare coursing, and to ask her about evidence of mistreatment of hares at various recent hare coursing meetings and about the need for stricter inspections; (18) Deputy Eamon Scanlon - funding for the drainage of the Owenmore river in County Sligo; (19) Deputy Mattie McGrath - awarding of contracts by Pobal to install and supply emergency alert equipment; (20) Deputy Dessie Ellis - to discuss the role of local authorities in the delivery of maintenance and not being reliant on the private sector; (21) Deputy John Brassil - to ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Deputy Shane Ross, to provide emergency funding to address the severe flooding that occurred last night on the roads in Kerry, particularly north Kerry, and to assist those whose homes and businesses have been affected by the serious road flooding; (22) Deputy Gino Kenny - public consultants working in the public health service; (23) Deputy Billy Kelleher - the need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the "RTÉ Investigates" programme on hospital consultant practices; (24) Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett - the adverse impact of private practice on public health care in our hospitals; (25) Deputy Robert Troy - the need for the Minister for Sport to address the House on the delay in the announcement of the sports capital grants and if he will clarify when the allocation of these grants will be announced; and (26) Deputy Eamon Ryan - to ask the Minister for Transport Tourism and Sport what steps his Department will take to improve safety conditions for cyclists given that the fifteenth cyclist this year was killed in Kerry last night, representing a 50% increase in the number of fatalities this year to date by comparison with last year.

The matters raised by Deputies Frank O'Rourke; Stephen Donnelly; Sean Fleming, Carol Nolan, Martin Heydon and Brian Stanley have been selected.
