I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Gabrielle McFadden - the immediate availability of supports to people and businesses affected by flooding in areas such as Athlone; (2) Deputy Seán Kyne - the current status of the national broadband plan, given possible challenges to it by private operators; (3) Deputy David Stanton - The Cost of Heart Failure in Ireland report and the need for a specialist heart failure unit in Cork; (4) Deputies Seán Crowe and Aengus Ó Snodaigh - if Ireland will officially recognise the state of Palestine; (5) Deputy Alan Farrell - the need to free up 1,500 gardaí for front-line policing duties as outlined in the Garda Síochána inspectorate report; (6) Deputy Joan Collins - homeless people, supplementary payments and the Christmas bonus; (7) Deputy Andrew Doyle - traffic congestion, pedestrian safety, the segregation of traffic merging and demerging and the improvement of safety and capacity on the N11 and the M50; (8) Deputy Jonathan O'Brien - the need to introduce a pilot scheme to supervise injection facilities for drug users; (9) Deputy Brian Stanley - projects funded by Pobal and problems arising with the increase in the minimum wage; (10) Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin - the shortfall in funding for local and regional roads in Counties Cavan and Monaghan; (11) Deputy Jerry Buttimer - the need for a comprehensive transport plan in Cork in light of recent traffic congestion caused by a lane closure in the Jack Lynch tunnel; (12) Deputy Billy Timmins - the Ireland's Ancient East marketing programme; (13) Deputy Fergus O'Dowd - the McCabe, Durney, Barnes report into planning issues in six local authorities; (14) Deputy Mattie McGrath - the introduction of regulations to monitor the activities of receivers; (15) Deputy Brendan Smith - the need for increased funding to Cavan and Monaghan county councils for the non-national road works programme for 2016; (16) Deputy Mick Wallace - the rules regarding the contributory pension and women who have taken breaks in their employment to raise children; (17) Deputy Clare Daly - the need for an independent investigation into the use of Shannon Airport by the military of the United States of America; (18) Deputy Dara Calleary - the increase in rejections of applications for credit in the small and medium enterprise sector; (19) Deputy Robert Troy - the need to expedite flood prevention measures for Athlone; (20) Deputy Bobby Aylward - the status of the 317 outstanding compensation claims by members of An Garda Síochána for injuries received in the line of duty; (21) Deputy John Browne - prescribing the title of physical therapist as a variant on the title of physiotherapist; (22) Deputy Billy Kelleher - to ask the Minister for Health to make a statement on the Health Service Executive's 2016 service plan and his plans for the executive; and (23) Deputy Colm Keaveney - to ask for a statement to be made on Saint Raphael’s in Youghal in County Cork.

The matters raised by Deputies Gabrielle McFadden; Seán Crowe and Aengus Ó Snodaigh; Billy Timmins; and John Browne have been selected for discussion.
