I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Costello — the need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to expedite the asylum application of an Iranian citizen; (2) Deputy Sherlock — the ten-year delay in building a new school at St. Mary's community school, Buttevant, County Cork; (3) Deputy Joe Higgins — allegations that gardaí are being employed in a private capacity by motor insurance companies; and (4) Deputies O'Connor and Crowe — when decisions will be taken regarding children's hospital services in the Dublin region in the context of the development of the national paediatric hospital.

The matters raised by Deputies Costello, O'Connor and Crowe, and Sherlock have been selected for discussion.
