This is not a criticism from me. It is encouragement. We will be doing our bit. It is just that there is funding available that could make a difference.

I will focus on my counties of Kilkenny and Carlow. We have been fortunate to have many successful boxers, none so successful as Darren O'Neill who was an Irish Olympian in 2012. He is a great guy and his dad, God be good to him, is a fantastic coach. He did a lot for Paulstown Boxing Club and was a GAA referee. Darren O'Neill was a successful hurler in his own right, too. I have seen the work people do and the passion and love they have on the ground. We love talking about the Katie Taylors, Kellie Harringtons and Darren O'Neills but it is about the ordinary person who walks in. That is why participation is so important.

Regarding statistics or data, Mr. Donnelly mentioned that Boxing Ireland did not measure success by medals. What data does it measure success by? Is it numbers participating?
