That would be very useful because, for example, Dunleer, County Louth, is considered a rural village, yet at the moment we have approximately 160 houses about to go into the village. However, if I go to a parish on either side of the village, the strike rate for refusals is quite high, particularly as you move towards the coast. The Office of the Planning Regulator may include Dunleer in its rural figures but that skews the overall planning permission figures in relation to houses and one-off houses in rural areas.
