I apologise that I will have to leave after this. I am on duty in the Seanad. I am not walking out on the groups. I thank them all for coming in here today and giving up their valuable time, and I thank them for their opening statements, which were very well done. I especially thank them all for the brilliant work they do.
It is not easy being young these days and it is not easy being a parent of a young person these days. Online has many advantages - it opens up the world - but it has so many disadvantages as well. I hope we will get through some of them today.
I will start with Ms Cooney. She emphasises empowering parents with digital literacy. What supports or campaigns have proven most effective from international research and could Ireland adopt these?
