Today’s meeting is one of a series of pre-budget consultation meetings with selected national stakeholders. The committee is grateful for the submissions it has received to date as part of this process. This evidence will feed into our interim report in July and our final pre-budget report in September.

Before we begin, I propose the committee goes into private session to deal with some matters. Is that agreed? Agreed.
