Somebody asked earlier about trends and what we might be seeing for young people at the acute end. One the things that is a constant concern of mine is how we structure our addiction services in the State. You really have to be at a stage where you are co-operating with the service to actually avail of it, and a lot of the time our young people are not engaging. There is something about working across government around the structure of how we deliver addiction services, particularly to young people, and how they can access them. It is all about children going to centres to receive services if they are willing or their family is willing to co-operate with them. Whereas we actually need more outreach type of work with those young people and that type of specialism to be developed. That would be really important as a need to work better going forward.
