Ms Mannion and I most recently met with Social Care Ireland on issues not really related to the reform, just on wider issues in relation to Social Care Ireland. I personally have not met representatives from IASW because on the issues they were raising in terms of social work, the scope of roles and caseload allocation we felt our chief social worker would be more appropriate to meet with them. We are obviously open all of the time to meet with any representative groups, but in terms of the particular issues for which they were looking for a CEO, I would not have that information. Ms Mannion has met and also leads the discussions with CORU in relation to any of the queries that were subsequently raised. As CEO, sometimes it just is not appropriate in terms of the nature of the queries that organisations have.
