I will speak about why there is a proposal on harmonising all parts of the hemp plant. Essentially, because of the bioeconomy, there are opportunities to use other parts of the hemp plant other than fibre. In order to try to exploit the maximum potential from the hemp plant, there is this proposal at the moment. At the moment, however, different member states have different levels and tolerances for THC and hemp products, so different member states would have different restrictions in terms of the marketing of certain parts of the hemp plant. This is what this proposal is aiming to do.
