Estimates for Public Services 2025
Vote 40 - Disability (Supplementary)

Keira Keogh (Mayo, Fine Gael)
It would cut down on people going for an assessment of need if they could access that AIM support before ECCE. That means they could get out of the house five days a week. If they are too late and miss the September window, it could then be October, November or December. That means from September to December that child cannot go to playschool because she will not be able to access AIM support, but she is still waiting for an assessment. It might be a good way to funnel resources and to allow people to get therapy within schools.
