920. To ask the Minister for Health the actions he plans to take to end the practice of imposing parking fees at all public hospitals given that they have proved a costly burden on those attending the hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13179/21]

The Programme for Governmentmakes a commitment to introduce a cap on the maximum daily charge for patients and visitors at all public hospitals, where possible and to introduce flexible passes in all public hospitals for patients and their families. My Department and the HSE are currently engaging on this issue in order to achieve this new Programme for Governmentcommitment.
