83. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if she has granted funding for emergency works required by a school (details supplied) in County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [31856/14]

The management authority of the school referred to by the Deputy submitted an application for funding under my Department's Emergency Works Scheme for yard works for their school building.
As the scope of works for which funding was sought is outside the terms of the scheme it cannot be considered for funding. The school authority has been informed of this decision.
