To ask the Minister for Health if he is satisfied that sufficient resources, including resources for theatre availability for surgery and post-operative care, is available within the public health service to deal with adolescent scoliosis; the information available to him regarding the numbers of young adolescents awaiting surgery in this area; the number of procedures carried out weekly in public hospitals; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
