Question 116: To ask the Minister for Finance when funding will be authorised in respect of the Dargle flood protection scheme in Bray in view of the fact that all design, technical and tendering processes have been completed and the importance that this project be started this year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Office of Public Works is currently undertaking a review of its capital expenditure profile to 2016 in light of the Government's intention to prepare a new capital investment framework over this period in order to identify projects that will best support economic recovery. A decision on the provision of funding for the Bray flood relief scheme will be made following the completion of this review.
