“Does the Minister agree that the exorbitant lengths of time it has taken has undermined the confidence of the people in the system? I agree that it is welcome that the process has become a lot more efficient but the inefficiency has led to an erosion of confidence in the system initially. Again, we are looking at approaching this from a cross-European perspective, which I think is right....”
