We can all get caught up in the language used, and while I would be in unison with my colleagues, I would not express outrage at the Minister of State. Unfortunately, Ministers are regularly handed scripts. If Ministers had the time to analyse the content of those scripts, which they do not, the language would probably be quite different.It is a political issue but it certainly is not a political football. This House can be proud that when it comes to important issues we deal with them and have robust debates on them but we certainly do not turn political issues into political footballs.
