With the Cathaoirleach's permission and thanks to his good office, I wish to inform the House that the Ceann Comhairle and the Cathaoirleach will plant a tree, obviously a native species, in Leinster Lawn, in conjunction with the Million Trees in a Day national project. This tree will also commemorate the late Minister of State, Shane McEntee, who, in his ministry, had a great deal to do with forestry and was good on that subject. I thank Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh for his assistance with this project. He liaised with the Northern Ireland Minister for Agriculture who is coming to meet her counterpart, the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Deputy Simon Coveney. The two Ministers may be present but the planting will be done by the Oireachtas leaders, the Ceann Comhairle and the Cathaoirleach. I would like as many Members as possible to attend. It is a worthwhile project and is being supported nationally.
