I move amendment No. 11:

In page 10, between lines 8 and 9, to insert the following subsection:

"(3) When designating a specified area under subsection (2), the Minister shall be cognizant of the linguistic circumstances of the community who live in that area and will not designate an area which contains communities which are linguistically dissimilar to each other.".

Tá imní mór orm agus mé ag labhairt anseo inniu, de bhrí go bhfuil an cuma ar an scéal go bhfuil Ceannaire an Tí agus an Rialtas ag iarraidh an Bhille seo a bhrú tríd an Teach inniu agus guillotine a chur ar an t-am atá leagtha amach don Bhille, ag 4 i.n. inniu. B'fhéidir go rachaimid tríd na leasuithe go léir, ach b'fhéidir nach rachaidh. Is drochmheas é don Teach seo agus don daonlathas Billí mar seo a bhrú tríd an Teach.

Ba mhaith liom tagairt a dhéanamh do chúpla focal adúirt an tAire Airgeadais sa Teach seo Dé Máirt nuair a thug sé freagra don Seanadóir Byrne. Dúirt sé: "If the Senator wants to ram the Insolvency Bill through during the next three weeks, without due consideration, I do not think this is the way to carry out legislative business. Bills need to be considered and given due consideration and time." That is exactly the opposite of what is happening here. Is náire é.
