Eamon Ryan: Both myself and the Minster for Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform have approved the 4% increase to the members of the ESB Defined Benefit Pension Scheme requested on the 22 November 2023, and it is my understanding that the ESB has now applied the increase backdated to the 1st January 2024 to the members of the ESB Defined Benefit Scheme.
