That is one of the reasons that I have put the item down for 5 p.m. We could hear Senator Barrett at that stage because he will probably be finished at the committee by then. Maurice Cummins: I note the Senator’s point which I will raise with the Minister for Education and Skills. Is the Senator suggesting that college chaplains should not be paid from the public purse? Chaplains can be from either religion in institutes of technology and other third level institutions.

Senator Ó Domhnaill raised the issue of a European Commission report on national reforms. This will be debated along with other finance issues.
