Tony Killeen: As I outlined to the House on 16 December 2004 in reply to a previous question on this issue, a provision has been included in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Bill 2004, which is currently awaiting Report Stage. This Bill provides for protection against dismissal and penalisation of employees who, in good faith, take steps to protect themselves or others in a workplace situation.
