I also meet the requirement I have a B.A Honours Level 8 in Early Childhood Care and Education . If I want CPD I have to pay 4 it. Spent 4 years in college studying and working to pay college fees. Now I need to up date my First Aid no problem in doing so it's just I'm paying out of my own pocket not to mention health and safety, Aistear implementation work shops , manual handling and so on I have completed all of these as well as my children's First child protection training and behavioural management course all of which I paid for and completed out of work hours. Teachers get induction days and more. CPD for all that's not asking for much is it.
What do we want CPD When do we want it Now. Our Minister needs to say what he means and not give us more dates have this qualification by ........ I have it now .
