I congratulate Sinn Féin on its introduction of the Bill. It is interesting and welcome that the Government has indicated that it will not oppose this legislation. It should be noted that not opposing a Bill is different from accepting it. The fact that it is not being opposed might be something to do with the timing of the debate.
