In light of the fact that funding of LEADER projects in north-east Mayo has been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation, is legislation promised on how LEADER funding is to be distributed? This is an urgent matter which I have tried to raise on numerous occasions in the last three weeks with no success. There are many community groups waiting for funding and I ask the Taoiseach to address the matter urgently.
